How to play
What is Every Day Blackjack
Every Day Blackjack is a daily game of blackjack where everyone starts with the Everyday. That means the cards are set up in the same order for everyone. It's up to you how you play - set your own bet amount, double and split when you feel like it, and hit or stand where you see fit. One new shoe released every day.
Points
We track your play with points. It's not all about your bankroll. You accumulate points as you play and win hands. Below is a list of ways you can get points.
- Win a Hand: 1 Point
- Win a Double Down: 2 Points
- Win a Split Hand: 2 Points
- Hit 21: 3 Points
We will add more ways to earn points.
Campaigns
Campaigns allow you to track your play over time. You start with a bankroll of $5,000 and it carries over from one day to the next. You climb the leaderboard as you accumulate points. If you lose all your money, you fall from the leaderboard and you start over with a new campaign.
Daily tournaments
Head-to-head, one round a day, random pairings, same shoe for both players. This is the complete process we use to decide every match, including ties, byes and deadlines. It is also shown on every match page.
- A new tournament begins every day at 3:00 AM ET, and that first day is Round 1. Nobody can enter before it begins; after that you can enter at any time until 1:59:59 AM ET — one hour before Round 1 closes.
- Round 1 pairs you the moment you enter: if another entrant is waiting for an opponent, the two of you are matched and can both play right away; if nobody is waiting, you wait for the next player to enter (you'll be emailed when you're paired) and cannot start a shoe yet. Pairs form in entry order, and nobody can see who is waiting. The hour-long buffer means every pair gets at least an hour to play. Every later round pairs you at random with one other survivor when it opens.
- Each round you and your opponent play the same six-deck shoe, dealt fresh for the two of you and seen by nobody else: $1,000 to start, $25 minimum bet, and the shoe ends once 50% of the cards are dealt. Walk away whenever you like after your first hand — banking a win early counts.
- A round runs from 3:00 AM ET to 2:59:59 AM ET the next day. Whatever your bankroll is when the round closes is your score, even mid-shoe.
- Your opponent's result stays hidden until you have finished your shoe or the round has closed.
- If only one player plays a hand, that player advances — even after busting to $0. If neither plays, both are out.
- Both played? Higher ending bankroll wins. Still tied: more hands played. Still tied: more hands won. Still tied: the tiebreak draw — the site draws a number from 1 to 100 and the player whose tiebreak number is closest wins (equal distance means a redraw). Your number is set on your profile and locked in when you enter.
- Odd number of players? In Round 1, if you're still unpaired when entry closes, you advance on a bye. Afterwards the bye goes to the surviving player who won the most money in the previous round; if that ties, whoever posted the score first.
- Last player standing is the champion. Fewer than two entrants voids the day. If nobody plays the final, there is no champion.
